XXI Spanish Meeting on Computational Geometry

The Meeting will be held at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Cantabria, Santander, Spain.

Santander is a seaport in northern Spain, in the region of Cantabria. It is a middle-large sized city that spreads along the bay, known for its city beaches and scenic harbor. The University of Cantabria (UC) is a public institution ranked among the ten best Spanish universities for its scientific quality and productivity.

Getting to Santander

Santander airport has direct connections with about 25 Spanish and European cities, mostly via Iberia, Voltea, Vueling and Ryanair. Another convenient option is Bilbao airport, about 120 km from Santander, served by most major European airlines. Santander can also be reached by train or bus from several Spanish cities, and there are also ferry boats from England.

Accommodation

You are responsible of finding and reserving your own accommodation. Observe that Santander is a summer resort, so Hotel occupancy in late June and early July will be high. We advise you to make hotel reservations as soon as possible.

Places for Lunch

Lunches are self-organised and not included in the registration fee. There are a number of cafeterias in the university area offering a full lunch for about 10 euros. Here are some recommended places near the conference venue. Numbers refer to the map below.
